"Ojo de Perdiz" LIOCO, Mendocino | 70
"A subtle and light-colored wine, this rosé is extremely quaffable. Don't let that fool you -- the wine has great complexity, finesse and depth. The rosé is produced in the same way as some rosé champagne, mixing wine and red grapes together and pressing reds quickly off the skins. This particular rosé is modeled after Champagne Jean Vesselle ""Oeuil de Perdrix"" or Eye of the Partridge -- a reference to the color of the wine."

Pinot Noir, Scribe, Carneros | 88
ALPINE STRAWBERRY * ALMOND BLOSSOM * CORIANDER We've been making this wine since 2007 – our first vintage. Its primary fruit source is nearly 30-year-old California heritage clone Pinot Noir (Martini) planted in the breezy, loamy heart of Carneros. We ferment with native yeast in steel and concrete – about 30% whole cluster – and age 7 months in neutral oak with minimal intervention. It’s a vibrant, fruit driven expression of Carneros and a favorite of early Scribe followers.

plump, and dark, with lots of purple fruit. a touch of rustic on the edges, but palate coating and plush.

Nebbiolo Blend, Luigi Ferrando, Piemonte | 60
This wine is juicy, ripe, fresh, all while maintaining pristine balance of acid, body, and grip. Red fruited, with a splash of herby-ness for interest and depth, this nebbiolo based blend from Alto Piemonte (northern Piemonte, foot of the alps) is great with food or just on its own.

Etna Rosso Ciro Biondi, Sicilia | 86
A light-medium red Pinot-like color in the glass. Shows aromas of red and black fruits, with balsamic hints. Medium weight on the palate but very flavorful, long on the finish and excellent balance. This wine has far more weight and complexity than you'd expect from the relatively pale color.

an enticing nose of stewed red fruit and cedar lead this full red to a polished, soft finish. elegant and rich.

Piedirosso Villa Dora, Campania 15 | 60
full in the mouth, with a rich black plumy perfume that start in the nose and blooms in the palate. This wine is not shy with pronounced tannins that make the wine feel dry. But the ripe fruit, and pungent nose both help balance this out.

Cabernet Franc Ryme, Russian River 19 | 76
a balanced, elegant Cab Franc that leans into its peppery and herbal notes. Not so big and extracted as to turn you off from a second glass, but definitely big enough to feel satisfying and fully expressive of California fruit.
